Pre-Operator Courses
Ready to take that next step and get
your Operator's license?
There are several requirements that the Board sets for each licensee before they will issue an Operator's license.
The following are basic requirements set by the Board:
- Complete a Pre-Operators course
- Complete a LiveScan (if necessary)
- Fill out a Certificate of Training/ Experience
- Fill out an Application for Operator's Exam
A Field Representative applying to become an Operator must have completed the following hours in the field they wish to obtain their license:

2 years or 3200 hours
2 years or 3200 hoursBranch 22 years or 3200 hours
2 years or 3200 hoursBranch 34 years or 6400 hours
